I have completed all of the work on the two copies of the historic album with the exception of the mounting. I was not sure whether you had the leaves or not. I was under the im¬ pression that you did not. At one time we discussed printing these on a photographic paper that would bind in the book in place of the leaves but later exje riments with this paper did not give satisfactory results in the detail of the prints and I did not make any further effort to use it.
My plan now is to mount these prints on the loose leaves like the samples using Eastman Mounting Tissue. I use this tissue rather than the glue because in some cases we find that the glue stains the prints after a number of years so that they are practically destroyed. The plan of mounting which I pro¬ pose would have no bad effect on the prints and I see no reason for any discoloration or change. I speak of this be¬ cause as this is a matter of historic reference, It is very important that it be as permanent as it is possible to make it.
I find that there will be 47 pages in each album and it would probably be best to have a few additional pages for later prints.
If you wish to get the leaves there do so and send them over and in a short time we.can mount the prints. The titling I believe you better do over there after the prints are mounted for you can do it cheaper than we can and be more certain of having it done correctly.
