Home Economics and Flower Show Exhibits Open in Afternoon at Colfax High School
1 :00 p.m.-Judging of Flower Show at High School.
2:00 p.m.-Junior Rodeo at Fairgrounds. Rosalia Chamber of Commerce and Thornton Saddle Club in charge.
4:00 p.m.-Junior Fat Stock Show and Sale.
SATURDAY/S FEATURES
Home Economics and Flower Show Exhibits open all day at Colfax High School
9:30 a.m.-Pet Parade -Main Street, Colfax.
1 :30 p.m.-Grand Parade -Fairgrounds.
1 :45 p.m.-National Anthem, played by all bands under leadership of Kenneth Holway. Two Marches, by united bands directed by Mr. Holway.
2:00 p.m.-Introduction of Judges and Fair Directors.
2:15 p.m.-Presentation of Winner in Queen Contest-Crowning of Queen by Colleen Dyer, 1950 Queen.
2:25 p.m.-Presentation of Winning Floats in Parade.
2:35 p.m.-Parade of Livestock; Awarding of Trophies, including Fat Steer Award, Heifer Award, Foundation Herd Award, Wheat King Award.
3:00 p.m.-King County Sheriff's Posse "Drill".
3:15 p.m.-Finals -Junior Rodeo.
3:45 p.m.-Roman Exibition Ride by Beverly Vehrs, Spokane.
3:55 p.m.--'-Harness Race -Exibition (Trotter and Pacer).
4:10 p.m.-Chariot Race, prizes of $50.00 and $25.00. -Special Race.
Saturday Evening
8:00 p.m.-King County Sheriff's Posse "Drill".
8:15 p.m.-Palouse High School Band.
8:30 p.m.-Mammoth Fireworks Display.
9:00 p.m.-Dancing.
Additional Information-All floats will be judged by impartial judges rather than by applause meter. Queens will be judged in the same manner by out-of-county judges. They will be judged 40 % on personality, 40% for presentation, and 20% for appearance.
